Today, 1 class from each cohort in Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, got to spend 45 minutes with an archery specialist group. The archery group were booked in as a reward to children for their home reading, accumulating words for their class. The class with the highest word count in each year group was selected to complete an archery session. The children have had a splendid time out of class learning some new skills required to be competent at archery. Thank you to all involved, especially the children who read literally thousands of words to help their class claim their prize!
