This afternoon, the Year 5s and 6s were treated to a the stage production of ‘Macbeth’.  The Shakespeare production was performed by three talented actors and lasted 1 hour.  The children were wowed and awe inspired by the theatrics of the actors and their props.  They changed characters throughout the production, discreetly changing costumes between scenes.

The children got to speak to the actors after the performance and asked a myriad of fantastic questions.  This half term the Year 6s will cover ‘Macbeth’ in their English unit which links nicely to one of our seven Global themes – Power and Governance.  They are now very excited to start the reading phase!
